Been here a few times now, great tasting food every time, but the husband and wife that have waited on me have been unfriendly every time. Kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth. :(
Haven't had anything at the Village Bakery that didn't turn out to be the BEST version I've ever had! Bagels, Cinnamon Rolls, Croissants, Baguette, Olive Loaf, Orange Anise Pastry was my first ever of that and TO-DIE-FOR. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. Even their cream cheese is amazing! Good coffee too!
Great local bakery! Delicious homemade breads, rolls and limited pastry. You can call ahead to place special orders, which is always a good idea during the holidays. They also make Kimmel wick rolls, but you have to order them.
Friendly folks, great coffee and very decent bagels for upstate. ... I'm a Long Islander so I know my bagels. There's a few tables so you can enjoy your treats before you go out for the day. They offer a nice variety of breads, pastries and sandwiches. If I still lived in Montour Falls this place would be an everyday go to.
